Foam Latex
-
Differences between the materials are described in the FAQ. I also discuss them in this video.
-
Eye Options:
-
Rubber eyes (non-see-through) – Ideal for display or photo shoots.
-
Black plastic lenses – Tinted for effect. Note: These may fog up with condensation, so we drill small ventilation holes to improve vision. Or you can test a wax on the inside to avoid condensation. If you prefer no holes, or have specific requests, just message us — we’re happy to customise or select it in your options
-
We’re constantly improving our designs, so hole placement may vary based on what has proven to work best for visibility.
Want something specific?
Leave a note with your order or message us. For example:
-
Less black around the eyes
-
No drilled holes
-
Custom finish
If no requests are made, we’ll send the version we feel works best based on performance and comfort.

Painting & Adhesive Options
-
Painting: Since these prosthetic are sold unpainted, you can paint them using grease paints, acrylics, Pax paints, or water-based colors.
-
Adhesive: Use adhesives like Spirit Gum, Aqua FX (budget-friendly), or Pros-Aide (for long-wear). Pros-Aide and its cream form also help blend edges and can be mixed with acrylic to create Pax paint.
How to Apply Latex
-
Position the prosthetic and trim it to fit if necessary.
-
Apply adhesive on both the prosthetic and your skin.
-
Add cotton wool to bulk up any hollow areas if needed.
-
Press the prosthetic into place once the adhesive is tacky.
-
Use more adhesive or latex around the edges to blend.
-
Powder the prosthetic to remove shine.
-
Paint to match your skin tone or create fantasy designs as desired.
Post-Purchase Care (Latex)
-
Remove the mask with an oil-based remover and clean it with a makeup cleanser.
-
For tougher stains, use white spirit or IPA.
-
Always test adhesives and paints on a small area to check for allergies.
